Calling all anglers!
This May the 4th, summon your inner Jedi Master and join the Barrie Bassmasters Perch Open for an epic fishing showdown at Sibbald’s Point Provincial Park!
Channel your inner Jedi and navigate the legendary waters of Lake Simcoe in search of the ultimate bounty: monster perch! This year, May the 4th brings a twist to the force. This year’s tournament promises epic thrills with a new twist: teams of up to three anglers, a team with 3 anglers must have at least 1 angler under the age of 16 (with parental consent, of course)!
Here’s how to join the battle:
- Gather your crew: Assemble your team of two or three Jedi anglers (remember, One under 16 must have parental signed consent.
- Train your skills: Hone your fishing prowess and prepare your tackle for the ultimate perch challenge.
- Register your team: May the Force be with you as you secure your spot! Sign up online using the Google Form link below. Registration closes May 2, 2024 @ 11:59 pm so don’t delay!
The details:
- Date: May the 4th, 2024 – back up date May the 5th for bad weather.
- Location: Sibbald’s Point Provincial Park, 26071 York Rd 18 (Park Road), Sutton West, ON L0E 1R0
- Time; 7:30 am to 3:00 PM with boat check open at 6:30 AM
- Format: 15 total weight, open to teams of 3. This year’s tournament promises epic thrills with a new twist: teams of up to three anglers, a team with 3 anglers must have at least 1 angler under the age of 16 (with parental consent, of course)!.
- Prizes: Galactic glory and epic fishing swag await the winning teams with the biggest 15 perch bags and biggest overall perch for the event.
- Entry fee: $150 per Team + $25 for big fish ($175 Total)
