The Barrie Bassmasters are a fishing club located in Barrie, Ontario. We are a member of B.A.S.S., the largest grass roots bass fishing organization in the world.
The Barrie Bassmasters are a strong component of the the community and a conservation group dedicated to improving our lakes both as a fishery and as a place for all to enjoy.
Through the years we have been involved in countless rehabilitation and environmental , youth and education projects that help make Lake Simcoe/ Couchiching a better place to live and play.
Last but not least we are tournament anglers who have a passion for fishing and competing in live release tournaments

How and Why to Join Barrie Bassmasters

When you join the Barrie Bassmasters you join more than a fishing club, you join the Ontario B.A.S.S. Federation Nation, a member of B.A.S.S.
Forty years of experience and investment has made B.A.S.S. the unchallenged leader in tournament fishing. Everything from the best way to maintain the health of captive fish to etiquette on the water was developed through years of experience and research.
The Federation Nation is the largest grassroots organization in the world and provides an environment of camaraderie, structure, and respect for the environment.
There is a place in the federation for beginners to experienced anglers with aspirations of competing in fishing’s most prestigious event, The Bassmaster Classic.
